Memorial - "Immortality" - Ciniseuti

The World War II memorial ensemble "Бессмертие" ("Immortality") features a processional walkway or alley that leads visitors through the site, ending with a T-34 tank. Leading up to the tank is a long pathway flanked by low stone walls and hedges flanked on the left by engraved stone reliefs depicting soldiers and on the right a row of tombs or commemorative plaques. Plaque inscriptions appear to commemorate financial contributions made by local communities to a defense or construction effort (or perhaps renovation of the complex), though the weathering makes the full text difficult to read.
