Bus Stop - Dzerjinskoe

The bus stop at Dzerjinskoe is a broad shelter with a flat roof supported by three slender columns, flanked by mosaic-covered side walls extend outward like wings. A dense arrangement of tree motifs rendered in white and light green tesserae against fields of red, green, and blue. Between the branches, baskets of fruit, a barrel, and a ceramic jug appear. Parts of the agriculture-themed patterns have disappeared, exposing the brick wall underneath. The balls, surrealist in depiction and color, likely represent apples.
