The structure shows signs of gradual decay. Although the mosaics once covered the entire shelter, large portions have been lost from the front walls, and the back is beginning to deteriorate as well. The variety of colors and relative simplicity of the patterns do not make it an especially remarkable piece of decorative art, though certain elements remain distinct and unusual.
