Transnistria, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia are partially recognised or unrecognised states that maintain friendly relations with each other and form the Community for Democracy and Rights of Nations. All UN member states consider Transnistria a part of the Republic of Moldova. Only the partially recognised or unrecognised states of South Ossetia and Abkhazia have recognised Transnistria as a sovereign entity after it declared independence from Moldova in 1990. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs flies the flags of these three countries.
