House of Culture - Hîrjău

Description
A symmetrical portico of eight square columns in coarse pebbledash render, carrying a plain pediment. The tympanum holds a white plaster emblem of a lyre on a shield, flanked by ears of corn, tomatoes, grapes, and wheat. The doors are painted grey-green and carry a sign reading ДОМ КУЛЬТУРЫ – Dom Cultury/House of Culture, printed on an A4 piece of paper and laminated. This could be a post-Soviet design, though the emblem/relief point to it being built in the USSR.
