WW2 Memorial - Vadul Turcului

A Red Army soldier in greatcoat stands on a rendered pedestal, right arm outstretched, a small child carried on his left. The pedestal carries 1941-1945 above a black plaque with a star, inscribed Стоявшим насмерть во имя жизни, “To those who stood to death in the name of life”. To the right, low walls list the village dead in gold lettering beneath another inscription, starting with Вечная слава – Eternal glory.
