Theatre "Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu" (former House of Culture) - Cahul

The only theater in southern Moldova, it was founded in 1987 and located in the former House of Culture, a building abandoned after the inauguration of the Palace of Culture. The inaugural show ("The Mountain and the Valley" after the comedy "Three Kingdoms from the East" by BPHasdeu) was produced on October 17, 1987. And on July 4, 1988, the Council of Ministers of the RSSM conferred the name of BPHasdeu on the theater.
