Two men incised into a rendered panel, one in work clothes with arms folded, the other in a suit raising a flask aloft. Behind them a Sputnik trails its orbit and a satellite dish tilts skyward. Worked tone-on-tone in terracotta line against pale plaster. The pairing of labour and science, worker and engineer, under the sign of the (Soviet) space age.
