Municipality of Rybnitsa Region and Rybnitsa City

A brise-soleil against the summer sun and one of my favorite socialist modernist designs due to its geometry and simplicity. A full-height screen wall of precast concrete blocks, each a deep rectangular cell set at alternating angles so the surface reads as a field of shifting light and shadow. The rest of the building, and administrative construction housing the city and region’s municipality, is unremarkable.
