Mosaic - "No to Nuclear Weapons" - Chisinau

The mosaic on a facade in Chișinău shows two stylized hands breaking apart a black missile, set against a white tile background with the inscription “HET!” in Russian (“NO!”) above and framed in the larger tiled facade. Constructed from ceramic tiles, the panel belongs to the late Soviet-era anti-nuclear campaign that intensified after the Chernobyl disaster and during glasnost. The mosaic is in excellent condition.
