Fountain of the Palace of Culture of the Railroad Workers - Chisinau

This fountain stands in front of the Palace of the Railroad Workers in Chișinău. A cluster of upright vertical forms resembling plants form the centre of the fountain - Dom's Architectural Guide to Chisinau says it's a flower. I feel like 90% of motifs in Moldova are vegetation based and the other 10% animals. Their “stems” could resemble railway track sleepers. The basin is circular, with a jagged, concrete(?)-clad edge resembling crumpled or hammered sheet material. Small concrete slabs adorn the inside of the basin.
